Night Rating

Introduction

A Night Rating is a qualification to attach onto a pilot’s licence to allow them to fly at night with your current class/type rating as pilot in command (PIC). More commonly it is to meet a pre-requisite so the pilot can begin training for a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) rating. To obtain a Night Rating you must undergo an approved course with an approved training organisation such as ourselves. Aviation South West are approved by the UK CAA and Transport Malta (EASA).
